Timely Warning – Armed Robbery

At approximately 4:05 a.m. on this date the University of Georgia Police Department received a report of an Armed Robbery that had just occurred inside the North Campus Deck. Two visitors to campus who were asleep in a vehicle were awoken by two Latino males who produced a black handgun and took several items from the victims. The suspects left the scene traveling away from campus in a silver 2009 Honda Civic bearing Georgia tag RPI 0447. The vehicle has a rear spoiler and after-market light gray wheels. No injuries were sustained by either victim. Anyone who has any information that may be related to this incident or who sees the vehicle involved is asked to contact the University of Georgia Police Department at 706-542-2200 as soon as possible.
